Description
Postmodern table lamp designed by Dutch architect and furniture designer Rob Eckhardt during the 1980s. Produced in collaboration with Leeuwenstein. This sculptural fixture features a geometric steel base and stem that beautifully balance its artistic handmade shade. The defining feature of this lamp is its unique lampshade which is meticulously crafted from woven steel wire to resemble the soft folds of a draped curtain.
When illuminated the semi transparent mesh manipulates light to cast intricate shadows and deliver a warm and atmospheric glow. With its blend of industrial high tech styling and classic theatrical influences this piece functions as a distinctive accent lamp.
